Virginia Beach Lodging Choices

Like most people, I first came to Virginia Beach for the promise of the peaceful, endless beaches. I'm happy to report that I found them - miles upon miles of them. But I found something else, as well. The hotels here have a self-image problem. Well, not a problem, exactly. For some reason, Virginia Beach hotels seem to think that they, not the beaches, are the main attraction. Offering luxury, convenience, and affordability, hotels here are constantly trying to steal the show. And sometimes, they do!
The Virginia Beach Resort Hotel, for instance, is one of the most luxurious and beautiful hotels you'll find anywhere. As one of the favorite hotels for vacationers and business travelers alike, the resort will not disappoint anyone with its spectacular location. You won't be able to get any closer to the beach without a swimsuit, and all of Virginia Beach's other attractions (yes, there is more here than beaches!) are only minutes away.
The
Sheraton Oceanfront caters especially to business travelers, with expansive banquet and conference facilities. As they claim on their website, the
Sheraton Oceanfront is a destination in itself, offering fantastic dining and lodging replete with ocean views. Vacation travelers will be extremely satisfied here as well, with frequent special packages and convenience to the best of the city.

At the pinnacle of luxury for the area,
Holiday Inn Oceanfront is the place for romantic getaways, weddings, or events that require that extra touch of class and flair. In the style of colonial Virginia,
Holiday Inn Oceanfront features charming decor that leaves nothing wanting. Their beautifully landscaped grounds complement opulently appointed rooms, not to mention delectable dining options. If you believe in really treating yourself while on vacation, this is the place to do it.
Anyone who has spent time in Virginia Beach will attest to the beauty of our many beaches. As the main attraction, the shore here is incredibly scenic. So, it is great news that the hotels here are doing their best to compete with the beaches. For our visitors, this simply means that hotels will practically trip over their own feet in trying to please their guests, and all of them offer fantastic deals on comfortable lodgings. While I hesitate to say that they've outdone the beaches just yet, our hotels may soon claim to be the reason that 3 million people visit Virginia Beach annually.
